Short Bio

Cheryl Lynch Simpson is a licensed Career Counselor, trained Career Coach, and certified Spiritual Director with over 20 years of experience helping professionals to help themselves to better worklives.  Cheryl is the designer of the Inner ArchaeologyTM system, a reflective process for uncovering core values, passions, gifts, and purpose, as well as the author of more than 50 print/web articles, coaching programs, and e-books on diverse career-related topics. 

She is the former host of BellaOnline.com's Midlife Careers Channel and a former Resume Writer with ResumeEdge.com who has appeared on a wide array of television and radio programs.  She is the author of 10-Minute Stress-Zappers, an e-book, as well as innovative coaching programs such as the Outplacement Cafe and the Career Renaissance Club.  Her articles have been selected to appear on CareerBuilder.com, FabJob.com, and JobBankUSA.com.

 

Long Bio

Cheryl Lynch Simpson coaches white collar professionals, mid-career professionals, and senior executives how to redesign their worklives and careers without starting over. 

As an Outplacement Consultant, she has designed and implemented live and virtual career coaching and support services for up to 100 laid-off staff, including the Outplacement Cafe, a virtual job search club offering a wealth tutorials, audios, articles, tips, tricks, and resources for job seekers.  As a Career Coach, she has designed extensive workshops, seminars, and coaching programs to help her clients discover what they really want to do when they grow up.

Cheryl is President of CoachingSolutionsForWomen.com and Career Coaching Solutions, as well as author of two blogs.  Her Inner Archaeology Blog explores the principles involved in clarifying and following a God-given calling, while her Prompt-a-Day Blog showcases a new journaling prompt 365 days a year. 

She was recruited by Ed2Go.com, the world's leading provider of online continuing education courses to develop and teach Introduction to Journaling, a 12-lesson online course containing more resources, tips, and resources than journaling books.  She was also recruited by ResumeEdge.com, the global leader in resume design, to craft resumes and cover letters for marketing, administrative, operations, HR, and senior executives throughout North/South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia.

Cheryl is a graduate of the University of Dayton, holds counseling licensure, and completed her coaching training through The Coaches' Training Institute.  She is married to stand-up comedian Bob Simpson with two grown step-sons and three grandsons.  She joins her husband on the road as they share vaudeville-style variety shows with churches, marriage ministries, and senior care facilities throughout the U.S.  Cheryl lives in Westerville, Ohio.
